What is this girls intentions to me?

There is a girl that im love beyond words to describe unconditional true love, she loves me too and we grew up together for years. She is my world and no other girl will ever be for me shes my only but sometimes she frequently talks about another guy we are very open to each other and talk about anything but i don't understand the message shes trying to give me or her intentions when she frequently talks about him past memory's and how she misses him and flashbacks of them together. Im honestly not jealous i continue to support her anything that makes her happy makes me happy and im sad for her feelings of discontent i want to know what message shes trying to get across to me or what her intentions are we are extremely extremely close and been through alot together but sometimes i wonder if she really feels the same way about me... she sent me picture messages via tex message of them together at an old event we all had together
