Is God without limits?

We use defining qualities in reference to God in order to be able to understand him through our limited capacities as humans. God does not actually have physical features, or a specific gender etc. However, in order for us to understand God, we have to "limit" God and create Him because we are not capapble of understanding a more complex God. What He really is. We understand God based on our own understanding only because we are limited - not Him.
