What color curtains to compliment my Hunter Green and Gray striped couches?

My husband is in the military and we just moved in to our home. We are renting, so the walls are the standard, boring white. We are not interested in changing the wall colors since that involves much more work in a short time than we want. So, we have decided to dress up the room in other ways. My mother in law gave us two hunter green and gray large striped couches and an oversized hunter green chair and rolling ottoman with small gray striping. We have beautiful glossy oak floors. The windows desperately need curtains! Any idea what would look best?
